For athletes playing in youth football, a youth-designated helmet is required. VICIS youth helmets are the VICIS ZERO2 Youth and ZERO2 Youth Elite. Varsity helmets can be worn at the youth level if the helmet fits, but youth helmets are preferred at that level because of the helmet impacts commonly seen at the youth level compared to the varsity level. Middle schoolers should still utilize a youth helmet unless the athlete's head is too large for a youth model. 

VICIS youth shoulder pads include the ARC_V1 Youth Shoulder Pads. They are designed for impacts seen at the youth level and for all positions. 

For athletes playing football beyond the youth and middle school levels, a varsity-designated helmet is required. Youth helmets cannot be worn at the varsity (high school and up) level in any capacity. VICIS varsity helmets include the ZERO2, ZERO2 Elite, ZERO2 QB Elite, ZERO2 TRENCH, and ZERO2 TRENCH Elite.
